Nissan Motor Co. Ltd announced its production, sales and export results for July 2008.
• Production
Nissan's global production in July increased 26.8% year-on-year to 315,975 units, marking a record high for the month of July.

Production in the General Overseas Markets (GOM) grew 35.1% year-on-year to 53,389 units mainly due to demand for Teana (introduced in June) and Qashqai (introduced in March) in China, and X-TRAIL (introduced in July) in Indonesia.
• Sales
In
Domestic sales of mini-vehicles were down 2.4% from the previous year to 11,739 units.
Including mini-vehicles, Nissan sold 61,830 units in
Global sales increased 11.5% to 331,058 units compared to the previous year.

Nissan's exports in July increased 84.2% to 83,429 units compared to the previous year.
