Leading cell phone vendors have decided to launch live demos of latest handsets for displaying a variety of options for mobile buyers in the shortest time possible.

Now, buyers need not go through a series of frantic internet browsing, or reading endless product brochures to know about their perfect mobile picks.

As per the plan, vendors like Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and Sony Ericsson would set up ‘live’ handset zones in some of their leading retail outlets.

As a result, one will soon be able to ‘touch and feel’ a mobile handset, experience its gamut of features and even compare with another handset before narrowing down on a particular model.

With the latest handsets being feature-rich, consumers can have a first-hand experience of the features like GPS, speaker sound and touch screen before deciding on a purchase, which is not possible with a dummy.
