Hero Honda aiming record sales in festive season
In spite of difficult market conditions, leading motorcycle manufacturer Hero Honda motors intends to target record sales in the festive season of October.
The company has plans to roll out seven models soon. Additionally it has strengthened its supplies to sell around 6 lakh bikes and scooters during the festive season. The company’s October sales targets are higher than the annual sales target of Yamaha Motors India. Yamaha intends to sell around five lakh units is 2009.
Hero Honda has instructed its dealers to maintain maximum inventory. It intends to sell each and every bike that the company will dispatch. Dealers are also offering notable discounts so that they can meet their sales targets.
