TII Pune to supply door frames to Tata Nano

Tube Investments of India (TII), has announced that it would be supplying door frames to Tata Motors' Nano. It would be supplied from the existing facility in Pune, Maharashtra. It is also reported that TII would be the sole supplier of doorframe for Tata Motor’s wonder car, Tata Nano.

TII has 13 manufacturing and assembly units spread across the country and is known as a group within the Murugappa group. It commands a 65% share in the car door panel segment in India, supplying to automakers like Hyundai, Ford India, General Motors, Maruti Suzuki and others.
