Sony Ericsson has launched its most awaited touch-screen smart phone, 'Xperia X1' in the Indian market. Xperia X1 is designed to meet the user’s entertainment and mobile web communication usage. It intends to provide quality in reviving communication and in mobile functionalities.
Incorporated with Windows 6.1 operating system, 'Xperia X1' is approached with a 3-inch wide screen. Xperia X1 comes with a 4-GB card extendable up to 32 GB and a full keyboard with a quality metal-finishing. Nine panel user interfaces are available, to customize based on user’s preference and lifestyle. High data transfer rate and Wi-Fi support with touch screen makes Xperia X1 more entertaining and an easy going mobile phone.
Xperia X1's touch screen has a 65,536 color TFT WVGA display with a 3.2 mega pixel camera. The 3.2 mega pixel digital camera has the capability to record video at thirty frames per second in VGA (640x480) quality. A secondary front facing camera is offered for videoconferencing in QCIF format. Different connectivity choices available for the phone are mini-USB; wireless LAN 802.11b/g; Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, FTP, and HID; EDGE. It also has quad-band GSM, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, and HSCSD. It holds java virtual machine and supports Java ME for additional features that are integrated in the cell phone.
Xperia X1 has a Qualcomm's ARM 11 MSM7200A CPU with an operating speed of 528 MHz and RAM capacity of 384 MB. Also the other standard features push email, an RSS feed aggregator, and handwriting recognition are of no exception. Xperia phone comes with Solid Black and Steel Silver colors.
