Transcend has recently unveiled its latest line-up of solid state drives (SSDs) in India. Among the various innovations of the company are a 1.8” portable SSD dubbed as SSD18M and the 1.8” and 2.5” SATA-II and IDE interface SSDs. The drives are light-weight, highly-reliable and consume very little power.

Transcend’s latest offering comes with a wide range of features to cater to the needs of most compact and high-end portable devices. The new drives are backed by two-year warranty, and the Transcend global service network support.

The new SSD18M drive delivers the flexibility of both eSATA and USB connection interfaces. It is available in storage capacities of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.

The drives offer both the eSATA and USB 2.0 interface options which makes the drives versatile and multi-platform capable. With the USB interface, users can incorporate the drive in virtually all types of notebook and desktop PCs.

As for the SATA-II and IDE interface SSDs, they come in a 1.8” and 2.5” form-factor and support storage capacities in the range of 8GB to 192GB. The plug-and-play drives offer easy installation in a wide array of laptops and computers.

The 2.5” SSD/SATA/SLC is available for a price of Rs 5500, Rs 8000, Rs 5500, Rs 10000, Rs 19000 and Rs 28000 for the 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 192GB options.
