Giorgio Armani, one of the top luxury apparel and accessories brand recently launched its first ever ‘super-luxury’ range of Prive perfumes in India.

The luxury brand has a license agreement with the L’Oreal International to develop its perfumes range. Giorgio Armani also formally announced the launch of its range of fragrances for men and women all in the luxury segment.

By the end of this year the company will have ten points of sale for its fragrances across Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore out of which six will come up by May end. These are priced between Rs 2750 and Rs 4800. The company will be selling a range of eighty fragrances except for its super premium Prive range in Lifestyle and Shopper’s Stop stores.

The company sees a lot of opportunity in the Indian market in the luxury segment. However, unlike L’Oreal which advertises extensively for its products in India with a whole lot of brand ambassadors, Giorgio Armani does not have any such plans for its fragrances range.

Priced at Rs 9,900 the Prive range of perfumes will be retailed only at Emporia presently.
