Rosebys starts its operations in Delhi with new store

Rosebys Interiors India, the home decor and lifestyle products brand has launched its first store at the busy Connaught Place area in Delhi. It is the company’s 55th store, after its presence in states like Punjab, Gujarat, West Bengal, Uttaranchal, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, where it opened more than over 54 stores.

Speaking on the occasion Nikhil Sen, director, Rosebys Interior India informed that Rosebys kick started its Indian retail operations in the month of October 2008 with the launch in the state of Punjab. Since then, the company has become very popular in almost all the states of India.

Estimates say that with organised home décor and lifestyle products retailing growing at more than 30 per cent annually, there is a huge untapped market for the home décor and lifestyle market in India which is pegged around Rs 140 billion.

Reports suggest that the organised Indian retail market is fast growing and is expected to touch USD 12 billion by 2015.

Aloke Banerjee, CEO, Rosebys revealed that the company aims to tap the largely unorganized home furnishings and décor market in India and would be opening 150 stores in the next 6 months.
