Kingston Data Traveler Vault USB Flash Drive Released in India

Kingston Data Traveler Vault; a Privacy Edition (DTVP) which recently got upgraded to Mac support is now in India. Kingston announces the launch of its latest Data Traveler Vault - Privacy Edition secure USB Flash drive with Apple Mac compatibility in the Indian market.

It supports Apple Mac operating systems (OSX 10.4x - 10.5 xs) and the easy-to-use storage device secures the onboard data from brute-force attacks. It also gets locked completely after 10 unsuccessful login attempts. In order to make the locked drive operable again, users need to reformat it. In addition to this,  Mac users in India can avail the 256-Bit AES hardware encrypted drive and experience fast data transfer rates of up to 24 MB/sec. read and up to 10 MB/sec write.

Apart from password protection, further security is ensured via the drive’s aluminum case and waterproof support (up to a depth of four feet). Available in dimensions of 77.9 x 22.2 x 12.05mm, the DTVP supports USB 2.0 specifications and comes in various storage capacities such as 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.

The new accessory is backed by a five-year warrant. The DataTraveler Vault - Privacy Edition is available at Rs. 6,950 for 2GB, Rs. 9,940 for 4GB, Rs. 16,125 for 8GB, Rs. 24,999 for 16GB and Rs. 39,999 for 32GB.
