In a bid to strengthen the Notebook portfolio, Samsung has launched 4 new stylish and lightweight models under its N series and 3 new advanced R series of Notebooks in the Indian market.
Samsung has emerged as a full range player in the Indian market with a comprehensive lineup of Mini notebooks, targeting both the home user as well as the enterprise segment. The new launch will certainly augment its presence.
Samsung India had announced its foray into the Mobile PC Segment in December ’08. Ranjit Yadav , Director-IT Business , Samsung India Electronics Ltd said “the very positive consumer acceptance that we received from Indian consumers , has encouraged us to further enhance our Mini Notebook offerings for the Indian market .We are looking at the Mini notebook segment as a clear growth driver for our Mobile computing business going forward.”
In addition to this, Samsung has announced the launch of N110, NC 20, N120, and N 310 mini notebooks in the Indian market. Designed for optimum mobility, N110’s enhanced battery-powered performance of up to 9.5 hours with long-life 6 cell batteries, lightweight design and a host of practical features, comprising a large keyboard, mean users can now do much more while on the go. Despite sporting a 10.1” widescreen display, the N110 weighs just 1.26 kg (including a long-life 6 cell battery).
This N110 also features a large keyboard with ergonomic design. Its optimized 17.7mm key spacing, which is 93% of the desktop keyboard’s, offer a more pleasurable and productive experience. The sleek and slim line form ensures maximum portability. It is priced at Rs.25252/-
