Brando has revealed a new USB drive which it has dubbed as the EagleTec USB Nano. This drive is has been specially announced for customers wanting a miniscule drive that packs in a large storage space. The device lives up to its name as it is extremely small and also has an unlikely shape compared to others.

This tiny device weighs just 3 grams and is just 19x15x6 mm in size. It is available in two storage configurations of 4 GB and 8 GB. The speed offered is 15 Mbps for reading and 6 Mbps for writing. However, the transfer rates are reduced with the reduction in size.

The EagleTec USB Nano is capable of connecting to a mobile phone and a computer with the help of a USB connection which is able to support USB 1.1 and 2.0. The device is also compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Mac OSX (10.2 or above) operating systems.

It incorporates support for plug-and-play interface, hence it ensures automatic detection and configuration doing away with the need to restart the PC. Moreover, it is also password protected, so users can relax about worries related to unauthorized access. The EagleTec USB Nano is available for $22 for the 4 GB model and for $33 for the 8 GB model.
