Apacer, a company famous for its memory modules and digital storage has introduced the AL 350 Digital Media player. Capable of playing videos stored on any USB device on a television, it is capable of playing photos and music files stored in a USB storage device such as USB flash drive or a portable hard drive. It has a USB port, which makes it possible to connect storage devices containing media files. It also has audio video outputs that enable connection to TV. Along with standard RCA output, there is also a HDMI, which enables users to play digital audio and video content on newer large screen LCD TVs. Also supporting digital coaxial output, it can upscale video resolution to 1080i or 720p resolution. It also supports a variety of file formats such as movies in AVI, MPGEP 1/2, and XVID formats, along with a variety of music formats. According to the press release, it is thin and light enough to be carried from room to room along with its remote control. The price of the product is currently Rs. 4500/-
