Freida Pinto, Evangeline Lilly and Elizabeth Banks have joined L’oreal Paris as new World Spokespeople for the brand a few hours before the opening festival of the 62nd Cannes Festival.

According to Jean-Jacques Lebel, President L’Oreal Consumer Products." On the eve of the Cannes Festival, to which I want to reiterate our attachment, L’Oreal Paris is delighted that these great stars of world cinema have agreed to represent our brand."

Recently, Frieda Pinto was discovered by Danny Boyle in the Film Slumdog Millionaire, which won 8 Oscars. Currently she is shooting Julian Schnabel’s movie, she will be filming this summer in the next film by Woody Allen. She says “I am very moved to be joining the great L’Oreal Paris family and all these personalities: a family I am now proud to be a part of."

The next spokesperson Evangeline Lilly came to notice in ‘Lost’. In this creation, her character ‘Kate’ won her a nomination to the 2007 Golden Globe Awards as Best Actress in a Drama Series. She ventures in to films for the first time in a version of Guillaume Musso's novel ‘Afterwards’. Here, she costars with John Malkovich and Romain Duris. Termed as a politically committed actress, she was drawn to humanitarian projects when she was very young. She also founded a committee on world development of Human Rights at university. Traveling all over the world on behalf of this cause, she shares "It is a source of great pride for me to represent a brand whose ambition is to respond to every person's aspirations to beauty, and contribute to the fulfillment and well-being of everyone." Just coming from Rwanda, where she is engaged in a humanitarian mission, she is participating for the first time in Cannes on the Steps of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes for L’Oreal Paris.

As an extremely versatile Hollywood actress, Elizabeth Banks acted in Oliver Stone’s W, in which her role was that of the First Lady Laura Bush. She also acted in the comedy Role Models. She has recently signed to star in the film ‘The Details’ along with actor James McAvoy. She also has her own production company Brownstone Productions, where she will star in the comedy ‘Forever 21’ and ‘What were we thinking.’ She also has given a wonderful performance in the creations ‘Sea Biscuits’, ‘40 Year Old Virgin’, and ‘Catch me if you can’. She mentions that "I am so honored to be one of the newest L’Oreal Paris Spokesperson and to join such a distinguished group of women who proudly say the iconic phrase ‘Because You’re Worth It,’ Se also states “What impresses me most about L’Oreal is the company’s commitment to empowering women. L’Oreal wants women everywhere to not only take charge of their beauty, but to also take control of their health and well being".

Vianney Derville, who is the International General Manager of L’Oreal Paris, mentions that "I am proud that all these actresses are now our World Spokespeople, alongside notably Jane Fonda, Pierce Brosnan, Penelope Cruz, Gong Li, Beyonce Knowles, Patrick Dempsey, Kerry Washington, Aishwarya Rai... We are delighted to welcome them as representatives of L’Oreal Paris. We have been completely won over by their rising careers as actresses, together with their attachment to the values of humanity and diversity."  Once again, L’Oreal Paris has encircled itself with leading personalities representing the brand’s values. The current spokespersons are highly involved in the present world, and represent a new generation of actors who possess immense talent and commitment.
