According to Daniel Anguiano, product marketing manager at Microsoft Corp, “Microsoft is committed to delivering quality products at every price point,” He added “These days more than ever, consumers are looking for the biggest bang for their buck, and the LifeCam VX-2000 fits the bill, with an excellent webcam experience that’s easy on the wallet.”
According to Rebecca Swensen, who works as research analyst for IDC’s Enterprise Mobility and IP Communications Services program, “Video-calling technology has been around for decades but has really taken off recently,” She further mentioned that with monthly worldwide use reaching an estimate of 35 million users, video calling is a viable technology for consumers and businesses alike.
The included VGA video and 1.3MP still photography facility in the device enables clear images. The device has the capability to automatically adjust itself in lowlight conditions so that it gives bright pictures in a variety of scenarios.
A variety of Windows Live features come along with the LifeCam VX-2000 webcam which include video effects, Windows Live call button and video messages. Wit the help of these Video effects, it is possible for users to personalize their video calls through fun visual elements. The Windows Live call button allows users to use the video calls facility with easily, while the video messages feature allows the users to send messages even while the user on the other end is unavailable to come on for a live chat.
