Philips has launched Satinelle Ice Premium in India. According to the company, it is the only epilator in the market with a click-on ice pack, which is designed to deliver long-lasting gentle hair removal.

According to Mahesh Krishnan, VP & Sales Organization Leader (India), Consumer Lifestyle, Philips Electronics India Ltd, "Basis our consumer insight study we found that women perceived most hair removal processes like waxing to be painful and sought a solution that was efficient and at the same time minimised the pain. The finding led Philips to develop the innovative Satinelle Ice Premium epilator, the first ceramic epilator with a premium ice cooler and sonic massage for gentler epilation. The product has already been tested to the most extreme limits of beauty perfection and I am sure, the offering will revolutionise the way Indian women perceive hair removal."

The product is designed for ultra gentle epilation.  With the help of the unique ‘skin cooler’ click-on ice pack, it soothes the skin after the extraction of the hair.

The product has an integrated sonic massage system with aloe-vera that comforts the skin. Further, it detracts from the sensation of epilation. The product has a unique ceramic epilation system that ensures upto 20% faster epilation to provide with more efficient epilation.
