IANS reports that Kailash told them over the phone from Mumbai, “Getting international recognition is always good and welcomed. It is not easy to get international recognition or bag an international project. One has to create a niche for oneself where there is already so much competition and talent,"

An anonymous singer added, “It is always nice and encouraging when you get recognition at home. But if you make a mark in other countries, it's a great thing. It makes one proud and you feel honoured that your talent in not only limited to just one country.”

New York based World Music Label will release “kailasa Chaandan Mein” internationally, while Sony Music will release it in India.

Kailash, who has moved from his hometown Delhi to Mumbai says, “My third album after 'Kailasa' and 'Kailasa Jhommo Re' will be released internationally under the label Cumbancha records of New York which is a sister concern of Putumayo. Putumayo specialises in Latin, Afro-Cuban music and other genres of world music.”

He elaborated, “This one will be more mature, bolder and lyrically deeper. Like our other albums, in this album too you will find Sufi elements.”

“Kailasa Chaandan Mein” has eight tracks and also featured kailash’s bandmates Paresh and Naresh. This album is about to release in coming month.

Kailash will also perform at foreign music festivals this year despite of being a Sufi Singer who has sung songs like "O Sikandar", "Ya Rabba", "Teri deewani".

Kailash is also linked with BIG 92.7 FM’s Dhun Daar T20 World Cup Campaign. He added, “Me and my band Kailasa will be performing in various international music festivals from June onwards. Our first performance will be at the 72nd season of the Stern Grove Festival in San Francisco and later at the Hollywood Ball in Los Angeles."

Kailash was struggling hard before his first hit song “Allah ke bande” from the movie “Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II” and not regretting about it.

Kailash, who married Sheetal Bhan recently told the reporters, “Initially when I came to Mumbai, I faced lots of difficulties. But I have no regrets. I feel that hardships make a person strong to face anything in the world."
