Yash Raj Films Music offers the latest music of 
John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan are starring the movie and Kabir Khan is the director. The initial beats of the music that touches the ears gives enough evidence that the talented music director Pritam, is all set to capture people’s hearts. Hai Junoon begins the album. The movie is centrally based on friendship and it is summarized beautifully in this song. KK sung it brilliantly, written by Sandeep Shrivastava and composed by Pritam with a great use of acoustic guitar Hai Junoon is a pacey & upbeat number. The movie celebrates youth, camaraderie and the fire to achieve and is filmed on three friends - John, Katrina & Neil. As soon as you hear the song Hai Junoon you will be singing it. Mere Sang another song in album is full of emotions with lyrics on hope and true love. Sunidhi Chauhan sung it with her deep soul and its lyrics penned poetically by Sandeep Shrivastava, the song is supported ably by a lilting male chorus featured at the right junctions. A slow emotional number rendered in the voice of Mohit Chauhan, is Tune Jo Na Kaha. Sandeep Srivastava wrote it beautifully and Pritam superbly composed it and will surely become one of his new masterpieces. Many musical breaks in the rhythm of the song are seen and a wonderfully written flute solo in the music interlude. Unrequited love is depicted in Tune Jo Kaha and also contains very hummable melody which will stay with you for a long time. Tune Jo Na Kaha is filmed on Neil and Katrina.
Pankaj Awasthi sung and composed Aye Saye Mere is a Sufi rock number. It is mixed artistically with a raw and rustic vocals and a wonderful variety of Indian and Western instruments. This track though having Sufi character has a very contemporary feel to it. IT is very evocative and compelling due to the lyrics by Junaid Wasi. The soul of the movie is captured philosophically by this track.
After Aye Saye, here comes the fast paced Remixes of Hai Junoon and Mere Sang – both composed by Julius Packiam. This remixes are very catchy and danceable club numbers and has a great groove. It is sure you will have your feet tapping and head swinging after hearing them.
Next is Sam’s Theme in the album. A song sung by Caralisa Monteiro and composed by Julius Packiam collaborates to produce this breathtaking symphony. Sam’s theme comes at different stages of the movie and is the backbone of the background score of the film. Sam’s Theme is uplifted with a hauntingly beautiful violin solo.
Julius Packiam has superbly composed and arranged the New York Theme that rounds up the album. Energy is infused in the piece with the heavy percussion and a great guitar solo giving it a very international feel.
Moreover, two music videos choreographed by Ahmed Khan have been picturised on the remix versions of Hai Junoon and Mere Sang.
