Jodhaa Akbar by Ashutosh Gowariker adorns at IIFA with 10 trophies. Hrithik Roshan was awarded for the best actor award for the movie while Priyanka Chopra stole the best female actress award for Fashion. AR Rahman was awarded the best music director award for Jodhaa Akbar and singer Javed Ali was was felicitated for crooning Jashn-e-bahaara in Jodhaa Akbar.

Ace Lyricist Javed Akhtar took away the best lyricist award for penning the song Jashn-e-bahaara for Jodhaa Akbar. Nitin Chandrakanth Desai, the art director won the award for designing the historical set of Jodhaa Akbar.

Another achieving lady winner is Kangana Ranaut, she won the best supporting actress award for Fashion and Arjun Rampal was honored with best supporting actor award for Rock On! The best supporting actor award in negative role goes to Akshaye Khanna and the best actor in comic role was dedicated to Abhishek Bachchan for Dostana.

A special award was given to Aishwarya Bachchan for an outstanding achievement in international cinema. Veteran actor Rajesh Khanna was honored with lifetime achievement award. Asin won the best debutante award for Ghajini.

Best cinematography award was given to Rock On. Neeta Lulla received the award for designing the clothes of Jodhaa Akbar and Madhav Kadam was awarded for the best make-up award for Jodhaa Akbar.
