Another latest release of LG is LG-GD900 Crystal, the world's first transparent phone by LG Electronics (LG).

LG's Crystal Smartphone is a touch screen slider phone and sports a 3 - inch 16 M color TFT screen and features an 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and D1 video recording at 30 fps, QVGA time-lapse and slow-mo video recording.

LG Crystal phone has a .5GB of internal memory, GPRS EDGE class 12 and Wi-Fi for connectivity. The weight of the phone is 127 g and measures 105 x 52.5 x 13.5 mm.

The company explains the touch pad saying, “The phone's slide-down Crystal Touchpad first appears to just be an alphanumeric keypad, but it actually doubles as a touchpad for controlling the phone.”

It can also be used as a trackpad on a laptop computer. Moreover, it can recognize handwriting, respond to multi-touch commands and can enable a new way of navigation called Gesture Command, another first from the company.

The Crystal Touchpad slid open phone is completely transparent and illuminated with a soft glow. “It is made of highly durable tempered glass and is framed and reinforced by a band of Liquidmetal, a composite alloy that is ultra-strong and able to absorb shock and vibration”, says LG

There comes a multitasking button for multitasking and draw one of 12 easy symbols on the keypad. These symbols can be assigned to any of the phone's nine multitasking-enabled features.

Chrome and Titan color choices are given for this LG-GD900 Crystal phone.

LG-GD900 Crystal is expected to launch in June in selected countries in Asia and Europe and will then debut in other countries around the world. Prices will be soon announced and we will let you know so, keep watching!
