GN Netcom, a world leader in innovative headset solutions announced the launch of its most intuitive headset to-date, the Jabra BT2080. Designed for anyone to use -- from first-time headset owners to experienced users -- the BT2080 is the latest addition to Jabra's "Easy Series" headset category and the first to feature Jabra's new proprietary StatusDisplay LED indicators.

Combining both subtle style and easy-to-use controls, the Jabra BT2080 features intuitively placed buttons -- an answer/end button on the front of the headset and a dedicated on/off button in the back. Volume control is located on the side of the headset and can be easily navigated with the touch of a finger, preventing users from fumbling with controls during a call.

StatusDisplay LED indicators, created by Jabra's research and development team, display multi-colored lights that correspond to the headset's battery level and Bluetooth connection status so users can gauge their status with just one glance.

Weighing less than 3 ounces, the BT2080 combines a sophisticated matte black finish with an attractive silver button to produce a contemporary and stylish headset. Not only is the BT2080 easy on the eye, it also has a smaller ear interface and improved Jabra Eargel to ensure a comfortable, molded fit.

The BT2080 is also the first Jabra headset with Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, enabling users with phones that support the technology to enjoy simple, secure pairing without the need to enter a PIN code.

Key Features of the Jabra BT2080 include:
• Jabra StatusDisplay shows battery level and Bluetooth connection status
• Dedicated on/off switch makes it easy to turn on or off
• Bluetooth 2.1 for simple and secure pairing, no pin code required
• Improved Jabra Eargel, ensuring a comfortable, molded fit
• Dual wearing style: Over the ear with ear hook or in ear with Jabra Eargel

• Up to 6 hours talk time and 8 days standby
• Dimensions = 2 x .62 x .35 inches
