Famous cricketer Harbhajan Singh has been announced as the newest Movado brand ambassador by the famous Swiss luxury watch brand, Movado. Annual contract is signed and will be renewed every year. Other elite league of ambassadors are - world-renowned artists and athletes like tennis player Pete Sampras, jazz master Wynton Marsalis, actors Amanda Seyfried and Kerry Washington and dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov of Mavado. From eight years in India, Twinkle Khanna has been the brand ambassador. 

“Movado is a great brand and Bhajji (Harbhajan Singh) is a great friend. Both share a strong belief in perfection, and the art of design and precision and are stalwarts in their craft. The synergy is perfect. I am sure we'll have a long healthy association and further strengthen the seriousness of the brand in this country,” says Arun Malhotra, CEO, Sunglass Palace. 

“We are spending around Rs 1.8 crore on advertising this year. We are doing print ads in newspapers, magazines and OOH campaigns. We are doing partnership with retailers in radio. We will be doing 3 events in 3 cities in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. We will be taking brand ambassador to dealers to show the outlets and then invite customers, retailers and dealers for a party with Harbhajan Singh”, says Hemant Khurana, Head-Sales and Marketing, Movado India.
