Estee Lauder to enter in India

A leading luxury skin care, make-up and fragrance brand in international market is now planning to increase its business in India. IN last few months, the company launched three free-standing stores in Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi, is now planning to expand it to Hyderabad, Kolkata and a few other big cities. 

Sonia Michon-Floc’hlay, vice-president and regional brand director Estee Lauder Europe, Middle East & Africa said that, “We will be launching all our international products here, as well as certain products which have been created keeping only the Indian market in mind. Over the next three years we hope to have around 20 stores across India”. 

Especially for India, Estee Lauder has developed tones and colours, now they are also doing well in markets with large number of NRIs such as Singapore, Dubai and London

She added, “In the Indian market, we are launching the international range of products in spring-summer, while in autumn-winter the focus will be on the India-specific products”. 

Estee Lauder will add its focus on the bridal market in India together with its autumn collection with its customized services for the bride and other women in the family. 

Ms Michon-Floc’hlay boasts, “We have trained a large number of beauty advisors who will deliver the in-store beauty services which is a hallmark of our brand”. In Indian market, Estee expects to exceed the growth of 20% this year and to break-even in three years.
