Honda Siel Cars India, a leading manufacturer of premium cars in India has hit the target again with the launch of its latest car Honda Jazz managing the booking of 1000 cars just within the first week of its launch. Well-known for its dynamic style, spacious interiors, versatile utility and remarkable performance, the Honda Jazz adds fun and excitement to the experience of driving.

The manufacturing unit is located at HSCI’s facility in Greater Noida, U.P. with localisation level of 77 per cent, to be scaled up in phases of the Jazz. With the company’s large distribution network of 105 authorized dealership facilities across the country, the bookings for the Honda Jazz has been a runway hit. As a preparation for the Honda Jazz launch HSCI has already expanded and strengthen the dealer network and likely to increase to 112 facilities by this year end. 

Newly developed four-cylinder 1.2-liter i-VTEC engine provides Jazz a dynamic performance featuring  Programmed Fuel Injection that delivers maximum output of 90 PS (66 kW) @ 6,200 rpm and Torque of 110 Nm (11.2 kg-m) @ 4800 rpm while giving impressive fuel economy of 16.1 km/l, as per ARAI test data. 5-speed manual transmission with gear ratios optimized for a sporty driving experience is an additional benefit in Jazz while it also ensures good fuel economy. Precise control of the vehicle is available while driving due to The Drive by Wire throttle control system. 

In South Delhi, a Honda dealer gives his views as, “Honda's design principle “Man Maximum - Machine Minimum” has defined the underlying approach in the design concept of the Honda Jazz that calls for maximizing the space available for passengers and minimizing the space occupied by mechanical components. Jazz offers futuristic, sporty, and aerodynamic exteriors, combined with new-age interiors, along with the best in class safety technology”.  

As per the views if a car enthusiasts, safety of passengers and pedestrians is a top priority for Honda and all safety equipment is standard across all variants. Honda Jazz arrives with a number of safety features that includes, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution System), Dual SRS airbags and pre-tensioner seat belts. Honda’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering Body (ACE) and G-CON (G-Force Control Technology) provide a high integrity survival zone that enhances self-protection and better compatibility in collisions with other vehicles. In the evnt of collision, Honda’s Pedestrian-injury reduction body design helps protect pedestrians from injury.

Honda Jazz was sold successfully in over 130 countries of the world with cumulative sales of more than 2.8 million units and won over 40 international awards. The 2^nd generation Jazz (also known as Honda Fit in Japan) was awarded the Japan Car of the Year (2007-2008) and created history by winning the same award as the 1st generation model. The Honda Jazz is the latest benchmark of Japanese car market has earned the best-selling position in Japan in the last fiscal year.
