Five new stores of The Bombay Store to inaugurate by 10th March

A brand new outlet opened at the Grand Galleria section in High Street Phoenix, Mumbai is none other than “The Bombay Store”. A top company official informed that, “spread across 1,500 square feet retail space, the newly launched store is the 11th store of the chain in India”.

Asim Dalal, Managing Director of The Bombay Store says to the IndiaRetailing, “We plan to increase our presence in major cities in India; and as part of the plan, we will open five new stores, two each in Bengaluru and Hyderabad and one in Chennai, by the end of March 2010.” The company will soon launch the same in Chennai if works with this planned expansion.

He added in regards to investment plan that the company proposed to invest around Rs 2 crore for this expansion.

The Bombay Store has a variety of products including apparel, fashion accessories, personal care, home accessories, soft furnishings and stationary. The Bombay Store also has the legacy of being the first retail company to be registered in the Bombay Stock Exchange.
