Pantech Group has announced that it is planned to launch a new music phone, "Pantech C570", with hit songs and music video of Mexican star singer via the largest mobile communication company, TELCEL, in Mexico.

"Pantech C570" includes a clip of music video, two hit songs and a wall paper of Mexican star solo lady singer, Paty Cantu. Paty Cantu is a local popular star singer having a large number of ballad fans among 10s and 20s young people. The purpose of Pantech Group is to grow up as a popular star in Mexican handset market by the marketing in connection with big star who is being emerged as a new idol among the young people in Mexico.

C570 is optimized as a music phone from its functions through design. A common audio earphone can be inserted to listen to the music since a 3.5 PAI universal earphone jack is equipped on the handset. And, playing the music not taking the handset out of pocket with the earphone with music remote controller built in, which is accompanied with the handset, and free music selection such as skip selection are also available. This handset is also supported with RDS (Radio Data Service) by which radio music information can be checked and external memory (Micro SD) as well and a free 1GB Micro SD is supplied.

This handset is also designed to feature easy use. Previous (Music), Play  Stop and Next (Music) buttons are equipped on the front of slider handset "C570" to allow the users to use the music functions easily. In addition, with the hot key arranged on the front of the handset, the users can easily manipulate to listen to the music playing FM ratio or MP3 player with the slider closed.

The handset also supports 2 Mega-pixel camera and Bluetooth.

Among the Mexican who are passionate and like music, the name "Pantech" is not stranger. Pantech Group launched a music phone "C510" containing local idol star RBD's songs and music video in November 2007 which was called as "RBD Phone" and won popularity among the young people. Pantech Group is preparing a new leap with "C570" through experiential marketing by listening to and feeling.

Lim, Seong-Jae, executive director of overseas marketing headquarter, Pantech Group, said: "C570 is designed carefully considering the functions and design on the point of view of music phone users and," "by star marketing in connection with popular star singer, Pantech is expected to get closer to Mexican consumers more naturally."

Pantech Group has planned to run C570 launching event along with Paty Cantu, the model of the handset, in Mexico City in the beginning of coming July. C570 has two colors, red and silver.
