Porsche Cayenne Diesel Wins ‘Company Car of the Year 2009’

In early July 150 Car Fleet Managers chose the both economical and sporting Porsche Cayenne Diesel as their Company Car of the Year 2009 in the Maxi SUV category of Europe’s largest practical comparative car test.

This special prize is awarded by the motoring journal FIRMENAUTO and the DEKRA Association of Automotive Specialists.

The factor crucial to this overwhelming result for the Cayenne facing the vote of automobile professionals in the area of fleet management for the first time, was not only the outstanding comfort and driving behaviour of the Porsche Cayenne, but also the economical and powerful diesel engine available since February of this year.

“With this economical power unit Car Fleet Managers have every reason to choose a Porsche with a good conscience“, states Hanno Boblenz, Editor-in-Chief of FIRMENAUTO, in endorsing the choice of the Cayenne. Another factor is the entry-level price of 47,780.67 Euro net of the Cayenne Diesel surprisingly low for many members of the jury.
