Latest web reports are pointing out that Research In Motion, Canadian mobile phone maker might be on its way to the market with a new BlackBerry handset that would include a front-facing camera. The company seems to reveal something connected with this at the beginning of next year, and it is already working on such a device.

The details come from a RIM executive, who unveiled them at last week’s Fortune Brainstorm according to Tiny Comb. RIMS employee said that “Video conferencing is something that could completely change the mobile landscape and it is something we have been thinking about and working on for quite some time. You will start seeing something early next year”.

Previously also there were few rumors that the BlackBerrie would include front-facing camera but this time it seems that the things are going to be live. As per RIM executive, some of the company's carrier partners support video conferencing, and that would help it a lot in the development of a future device to include the functionality.

An employee said that in addition to these hardware tidbits of info, he also talked about the company's app store, which has had a really slow start. He commented, “It’s tough when you are going up against a company operating one platform and perfecting a single piece of hardware”. The App World will even certainly see more software solutions submitted to it by developers, and success depends on time.

He compared BlackBerry with the iPhone and said that they were different handsets, and that RIM's devices would certainly continue to see growth in the future. Let’s wait for the rumors come true and see the BlackBerry with front facing camera.
