Honda India expanding its biz with 100cc bikes launch by early-2009

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) have planned a no. of launches, including a 100 cc motorcycle, which is estimated to be priced between Rs. 40,000 and 45,000 within the short time span of two years.

As per the recent reports, the company is developing an entirely different bike than the current bikes in 100cc bikes segment with attractive prices. One of the company official, who chose anonymity informed that the mass-market bike is code-named the KWSA (“A” stands for any model in the development state).  

The leak from the company also reveals that HMSI also will be launching 125-cc motorcycle, Shine, followed by the new variant of Stunner. Moreover, it will be also having a grand launch of the 250cc model that will have a very big role to play, as per another official of the company. 

The new Stunner has already been launched in May this year and the mass segment bike is scheduled to be launched next year as per the company review done.
