Ford to roll out new Endeavour this Sept

Ford, the leading car manufacturer globally has announced to roll out the new version of highly acclaimed Sports Utility vehicle (SUV) - Endeavour. “Ford will be launching the new version of the SUV Endeavour in the forth coming month of September.

It is an strategic step to cater to the rising demand of Endeavour”, as per the company’s senior official, Nigel Wark. Nigel denied giving further details about the specifications and features of the new variant.  

In order to cop with the rising production cost Ford has decided to increase the price of it’s another popular brand sedan Ikon by up to Rs 8000-/ for the diesel variant and Rs 7500-/ for petrol from September, said Nigel Wark, who is also the Ford India executive director. The new price of the Ford Ikon will be Rs 4.73 lakh for petrol version, while Rs 5, 32,500 for the diesel variant from September.

Wark boasts that the Ford Ikon despite of recession has not faced any loss in sales but is selling drastically at 400 per cent on mothly basis. According to the industry experts, the company will sustain its sale of 2008 as Ford India sales hasn’t been affected by the recession.
