Indian roads to rock this festive season with all new car models

India is a country of festivals and here the festival season is started with the great Ganpati Mahotsav and continue with Navratri and than Diwali, Idd, and Christmas. The big players like BMW India and Mercedes Benz, Hyundai, Toyota, Ford and GM and even Maruti Suzuki all are set to roll out the new models of their cars on Indian roads this season. 

BMW India, the topmost luxury car manufacturer in India will be leading on launch of a new petrol variant of the 7-Series in September, followed by the Z4 in October. Moreover, the most famous luxury brand Mercedes Benz will launch the advanced version of E-Class before the end of 2009. The Volkswagen Beetle is also planned to be launched this season.

Hyundai Motor has plans to bring the Santa Fe to India next year and its small car is planned for 2011. New Hyundai Santro is already launched for the season and Hyundai will launch its refurbished Santro Xing. Honda too, is not left behind in the race with all set to launch a new Civic. The much awaited model from General Motors’ Chevrolet Cruz which will be a medium range sedan is also coming up which will be priced for Rs 12 to 14 lakh.. 

Maruti Estilo is already launched, while a brand new Maruti Swift with new K-series engine is destined for a launch in next couple of weeks.

Ford Endeavour is also panned to be on roads by September in competition to Toyota’s Fortuner. Tata Motors is bringing its new Indigo Vista sedan with the engine powered by its JV Fiat. 

Skoda Yeti, new VW Polo and Skoda Fabia Combi are the additional cars to be launched this year. The figure of new car models to be released clearly suggests that the roads will be full of new models and rock the party!
