Sony is always in a way to get the technology updates in its devices. Now, Sony VIAO is all set to bring the new X-Series ultraportable, ultrathin and very light weighted laptop, one that can be called dream laptop. The announcement for the same was done in IFA 2009 Expo at Berlin in Germany. 
Sony’s new 11.2 inch laptop is more slimmer than the Apple’s Macbook Air. The thickness of the laptop is just 0.55-inch. It is made up of carbon fiber body. Sony’s ultrathin device weighs a mere 1.5 pounds and has an aluminum keyboard.
Sony has still to decide on the processor, it may have more powerful and energy saver processors inside than the power Intel Atom processor.
The VAIO X will come with a couple of USB ports, an SD/Memory Stick slot, a WWAN SIM slot, VGA (no HDMI, at this time), RJ45 for wired Ethernet LAN and a Kensington lock, all inside a system that boasts an 11-inch display.
The laptop will be priced heavily as all Sony equipments are. Brand name matters…
