Tata’s to invest Rs 150 Crore in expansion of Croma

Tata Group is planning to invest Rs 150 crore for the expansion of the brand Croma, as per the recent reports. According to one of the company official, Tata Group is going to promote Infiniti Retail, which owns the consumer durables and electronics brand 'Croma'.

The company has launched a number of products which was revealed in Mumbai by Krishna Kumar, chairman, Infiniti Retail Ltd. & director, Tata Sons Ltd. in the presence of Ajit Joshi, managing director & CEO, Infiniti Retail Ltd.

The Croma runs 34 outlets currently and is planning to increase the revenue collection by 35-36% in the next year. The stores include a vast range of products on sale like refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, wine coolers, mini massagers, blender choppers, split air conditioners, laptops, IT accessories and a wide variety of more products in different categories.

The company is planning to even launch products such as LCD panels, ultra slim TVs, washing machines and so on in coming year. The company has received a good growth in last year and so is expecting more growth in next few years.

All the Croma stores across India in the major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengalooru, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Baroda, Hyderabad, Faridabad and Ghaziabad has the 'Croma' branded products available.
