The world’s leading mobile phone company Nokia has made its presence in the high-end devices like the N900 and the Nokia N97 which were launched just before few days. The company is all set to bring another mobile phone called Nokia 2220 slider mobile phone. The images of the phone are revealed online on many websites. 

Nokia targets equally on the entry level to mid range segment devices in order to cover the majority of the people. The reality is that this segment helps Nokia to grab most of its market share.

The new Nokia 2220 slider mobile phone will be available in various colours. Of course, the phone is a slider phone with dual band GSM connectivity. The phone features 128 x 160 TFT display screen. The phone adds on to music experience with new 3.5 mm jack giving an option to switch to better headphones. The device has 10MB of internal memory and no info about expandable memory yet revealed. The phone even has a VGA camera. It also supports MP3 ringtones. 

The phone has a battery life time of up to 8 hours in talk time or up to 400 hours in standby. Its dimensions are 97.2×47x15.9 mm.

The exact date of availability of phone in market is not yet reveaed but is expected to be sold for $126 (Rs. 6,100 approx.).
