The German car manufacturer Audi’s Indian subsidiary Audi India has high vision of selling 1500 cars  this fiscal year with an increase of  over 450 from last year, and hopes to capture 15 percent share in the domestic luxury car market.

The company’s current sales condition proves it to be a real vision. The sales head Anil Reddi told IANS, “Going by the sales trend, we are confident of exceeding the target. We have sold 1,128 units during the first eight months of this calendar year. Our client profile is an equal mix of first time luxury car buyers as well as those who drive competing brands”.

The head also boasts of positioning Audi models on the advanced technology platform and added that there is no comparison of the company with the other German car makers like BMW and Mercedes as they are very old in Indian market.

Anil also claimed their cars will offer a differentiated value proposition and Audi showrooms will offer a new experience for the buyers, stating that the Audi India showrooms and service stations were state of the art. Moreover, each showroom would cost anything between Rs.7-10 crore. And Audi is coming up with its new model Q5 by sometime next year.
