There is a great rise in demands of colourful traditional ornaments, which has been displayed in Shops and roads.

Young girls and women flocked jewellery shops in Rani-no-Haziro, a historical market selling oxidised jewellery. With this there is also an immense selling of colourful traditional Chaniya Cholis, dupattas, men’s Dhoti, etc. The market is in full bloom currently.

The new trend of colourful jewellery has more attracted the buyers than the traditrional oxodised and black jewellery, which was an old trend.

All the shops has a good stock of variety of oxidized neckpieces, earrings, bangles, waist bands known as ‘kandora’, modified with colourful beads, multicolour stones, mirror work, woollen tassels, pearls and sequin works to make it look more spectacular.
