Mahindra Renault is hoping to sell 1200 Logan cars only in the northern region this year. 
Indrajeet Ghoshal, Mahindra Renault’s Deputy General Manager said, “We are targeting to sell 1200 units of Logan in 2009-10 compared with 1150 units sold in last fiscal in north comprising Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Chandigarh”.
The company is actively looking into achieving the flat growth and improvement in market share in midsize segment from 8 per cent to 11 per cent by end of this year in this region.
The festival fever is also on, on the company giving special schemes which include car finance at a rate of 0.99 per cent or 6.99 per cent, LCD TV and two grand prizes of free Logan Play, to achieve the targets.
Jasjit Singh Bawa, Company's Senior Manager told, “We are targeting to sell 2000 units of Logan across the country during coming festival season and will be giving customers the offers when they visit showrooms for test drive.
The company, which is a joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra and Renault, has also launched new variants of Logan Play which carry price tag of Rs. 5.49 lakh for petrol and Rs. 6.79 lakh for diesel version. New Logan is an upgraded version of Logan and is expected to help in sales boost.
