Samsung launches LiMo based H1 and M1

Samsung and Vodafone have together launched two new LiMo OS based devices, the H1 and the L1 on the Vodafone UK network. It is the first major Linux based handset in recent times. 

Together with these phones Vodafone also announced its new suite of internet services called Vodafone 360. The phone working on Linux based smartphone OS platform; Samsung H1 features a 3.5-inch OLED touchscreen display, GPS, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, push email. The phone adds up with 5MP camera with autofocus and flash as well as 16GB of internal memory. 

Moreover M1 is also not very behind, which is expected to be cheaper than the H1. M1 sports a 3.2-inch TFT touchscreen display, HSDPA, GPS, push email, 3MP camera, and 1GB of expandable memory. The phone will be available in 3 color versions.

H1 and M1 are expected to be on the sale in Germany, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the UK by the end of the year. India is still in queue. More details are yet to be revealed!
