Nissan unveils Sketch of Global Compact Car

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today revealed the sketch of its global compact car. This model will be initially launched in Thailand in March 2010 and will be available in more than 150 countries.

At the same time, Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. announced that the model will qualify as Thailand’s first “Eco-car.” Thai Eco-car government policy is effective today and will help promote the development of energy efficient vehicles.

Nissan Motor company founded in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture in 1993, has sixteen production sites in Japan and aboard and offers products and services in more than 160 countries worldwide.

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. is a global automotive company with vehicle sales of 3.411 million in 2008. Nissan is present in all major auto markets worldwide, selling a comprehensive range of cars, pickup trucks, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles.
