Upcoming Bollywood flick ‘Wake Up Sid’ which is nowadays too much in news and media has taken a new way out for promoting the film. The movie is a light hearted romantic comedy.
‘Wake Up Sid’ is a story of Sidharth Mehra played by Ranbir Kapoor, an unmotivated boy from Mumbai, whose life undergoes a series of changes after taking his final year college exams. The movie has some very good performance by the young actor. It is more than just a story, it is a feeling and thus seen a very hard work.
The way of promoting the chilled love story begins here. The movie maker has done a tie up with the fashion and lifestyle king Provogue to launch the trendy and stylish range of ‘Provogue Wake Up Sid T-Shirt collection. Provogue is a big brand name in fashion industry and stands at the top of all other fashion brands.
The launch was done by Ranbir Kapoor and Konkana Sen Sharma in presence of Wake Up Sid team at a suburban mall in Mumbai on Tuesday, 29th September. The collection truly is inspired by Sid (Ranbir Kapoor) in the movie as collection is also like him ‘lazy’ and ‘chilled’. The price of the collection ranges between Rs. 695/- and Rs 795/-.
The event also saw the launch of the Autumn Winter ‘09 casual wear collection of Provogue. Ramp was cool and cozy with all stunning models like Bunty Grewal, Anjalai Raut, Romil Srivastava, Praveen Sirohi, Rahul Singh amongst others. Fashion show was choreographed by Bunty Grewal.
To promote it more, the stars came down to distribute gift vouchers, signed merchandise that included the Provogue-Wake Up Sid T-Shirts and distributed CD’S to some of the lucky winners of a Provogue Wake Up Sid Contest held at the event.
The movie will be in the theatres by October 2 and the Wake Up Sid T-Shirt collection is already in all Provogue Studios across India.
