Dell reveals Precision T1500

Dell reveals the all new Precision T1500 workstation on 29th Sept. The world's first machine exclusively designed for AutoCAD is a power packed Dell Precision T1500 desktop. It is the cheapest workstation in the manufacturer's range with the price tag of just $949.

The Dell T1500 workstation targets digital content creation, biosciences and CAD professionals. This single-socket workstation can be configured with Intel’s Core i5 and Core i7 processors, DDR3 memory and a choice of AMD ATI FirePro or NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards. NVIDIA's Quadro workstation graphics cards are also Autodesk certified. It is truly said about it, “workstation performance at desktop value”.

Another new innovation in the OptiPlex business desktop PC lineup is the OptiPlex 780. It is a corporate desktop and mainly targets IT managers in medium and large organizations. It will be available in a small form factor, mini tower and desktop sizes. There are also chances f having an ultra-small form factor variant of the PC by this Dec. This new OptiPlex will support an Intel Q45 chipset. It also offers the Intel vPro optimized remote system management, data and asset security solutions. 

Steve Lalla, vice president and general manager, Business Client Product Group, Dell boasts, “Dell is introducing ground-breaking innovations that mark many industry firsts”.

Both the Precision T1500 and OptiPlex 780 desktop PCs will be available locally. The desktop PC OptiPlex 780 will have a starting price of $544.
