Yamaha India got 160% more sales than last year Sept

Yamaha India on 1st October declared that the Two-wheeler major has reported 160 percent increase in sales in September this year compared to last year same month.

The company managed to sell 26,394 bikes in the month of September this year compared to last years 10, 142 units in same month.

Recently, company has launched its flagship bike VMAX in the Indian market. While also said that the company has received great response to Fazer, our new model which got introduced in July 2009. They are expecting same response for VMAX as well like YZF-R1 and MT-01 models. 

The company is expecting increase in sales with the coming festive season with new bikes.

IYM operates from its state-of-the-art-manufacturing units at Surajpur in Uttar Pradesh and Faridabad in Haryana and produces motorcycles both for domestic and export markets. With a strong workforce of more than 2000 employees, IYM is highly customer-driven and has a countrywide network of over 400 dealers.

Presently, its product portfolio includes MT01 (1670 cc), YZF-R1 (998 cc), recently launched FZS (153 cc), FZ 16 (153cc), YZF-R15 (150 cc), Gladiator Type SS & RS (125 cc), Gladiator Graffiti (125cc), G5 (106 cc), Alba (106 cc) and Crux (106 cc).
