The very famous author in youth now adays ‘Chetan Bhagat’ who has written many good novels is coming up with one very interesting and touching novel inspired from his own life is named “Two States”.
The novel is all about a Tamil girl ‘Ananya’ and a Punjabi boy ‘Krish’ who falls in ‘Love’ and wants to ‘Marry’ each other. Both are from different states and as the author Chetan Bhagat is also marries to a Tamil girl, who himself is a Punjabi has faced similar problems. As both parents don’t agree for the marriage and the couple tries hard to get married with parents consent.
The author has beautifully bought forward a very serious issue: Why can't two people from different states marry in peace without their respective families creating a fuss? The answer is with no one even after India is prospered so much. Bhagat says, “In India, love marriages are often about two families having to fall in love with each other”.
The issue of love marriage is already heavy and it becomes harder if the two parties are from different states speak different languages. The whole process of courtship can be quite draining for the couple involved, and by the time the actual marriage happens there may be very little love left between them.
Bhagat says about his book 3 Mistakes, “Writing 3 mistakes became too heavy for me. A story about riots, manipulative politics and the impact on the younger generation made me quite disturbed after writing the novel. Also, my strength is humour and many of my readers felt the books becoming more serious. So, I am back do doing something light and fun – but still has a message.”
Chetan Bhagat has another very famous book “One Night @ Call Center” which is already been made a movie called “Hello”.
His all books roll around youth and their problems. This book is dedicated to youth. He says, “Love marriages around the world are simple: Boy loves girl. Girl loves boy. They get married.” But In India is a totally different story. Here a new addition comes i.e. family of boy and girl which has villains, helpers and many more drama associated.
This book will be available in bookstores early October. 400k copies 2S being printed at 4 secret locations. Distributors begins Oct 3, in stores Oct 8 is expected excited+nervous!
The author at end reveals the truth that marriages outside state are really good as it will help India become one rather than having differences.
