Maruti Suzuki to unveil Maruti SX4 Automatic

India’s largest car seller, Maruti Suzuki is expected to unveil its new facelifted model of its existing SX4 car, which will come with automatic transmission. The car features Bharat IV compliant engine and will have some changes on the exteriors as well as in the interiors. Maruti Suzuki already has a few cars like the A-Star, Ritz, and the Zen Estilo which fulfill the BS-IV emission norms.

The production for the SX4 has come to a halt and the new SX4 will be launched in a few weeks time. There are not much changes but a new front grille. A 5 speed automatic gear box would also be offered on one of the variants.

The SX4 will be running with 1.6L petrol engine that delivers fuel efficiency of 12.5kmpl while manual transmission variants delvers mileage of 15.5kmpl. Power and torque ratings of new SX4 have been revised upwards by 2bhp and 2Nm respectively.

Actor John Abraham has apparently been roped in as the brand ambassador for the new SX4, which is expected to be sold for Rs 7.5 lakh and above (ex-showroom, Delhi).
