‘Dream Girl’ with her daughter in ‘Tell me Oh Khuda’

The Bollywood’s “Dream Girl” Hema Malini is working hard to launch her daughter Esha and thus is making a movie called “Tell me Oh Khuda” which is said to be Indian version of the Hollywood musical ‘Mamma Mia’. The Hollywood musical, which had been a hit, had Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth in the ead roles.

This will be Hema Malini’s first directional debut and 2nd production. ‘Tell Me Oh Khuda’ is a story of a girl (Esha) who is in search of her father. Though story is not same as Mamma Mia but still it resembles the movie.

Hema herself is expected to be essaying the role what Meryl Streep had essayed in the original one. Another news going doing the rounds that it will also feature Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor in vital roles.

Confirming the news a source said, “Hema has taken a long time to put this project in place.” The movie will have directed by debutant director Mayur Puri, who had been associate director for ‘Dhoom’ and music composed by Pritam. 

The film will commence shooting from the end of this year and is expected to be released by 2010.
