The hot and glamorous kareena Kapoor will be seen with the formidable scene-stealer  Kajol in the Siddharth Malhotra’s movie, which is official adaptation of Hollywood film 'Stepmom' (1998). The movie also stars the hot dude Arjun Rampal and shooting will began from end of October.

The movie will have Bollywood babe Kareena Kapoor playing the role what Julia Roberts' played in original i.e. as a step mother, while Kajol will play the  Susan Sarandon's role as the terminally ill mother. Arjun Rampal will be playing the role of Ed Harris', father of two children. This role was previously given to the Dhoom Hero, John Abraham but he backed out.

The movie will be from the Dharma Productions'. The name of the movie is not yet decided film is currently in pre-production. The desi version of Stepmom is very different from the original.

The glamour girl Kareena will play a deglam role as ordinary career woman. The onus is on designer Manish Malhotra to get the makeover right. In the meanwhile Kareena has been attending workshop to prepare for her role and to attend the workshops,  Kareena has been stealing time out of the rehearsals for a song she began shooting with Aamir Khan in 3 Idiots. Through the workshops  Kareena is discovering how difficult it is to play a normal girl. Kareena says, “I walk, talk, dress like an ordinary working girl. I’ll be using no makeup.”

Kareena wanted to cut her hair short for her role but she will now work around a new hairstyle so that she does not clash it with her other film roles. Kareena is very anxious and thrilled to work with Kajol in the drama charged scenes of the film.

Talking abour  Kajol,  Kareena said: “She’s always been one of my favourite actresses. We worked together in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. But this is something else.”

Kareena’s current movie for Raj Kumar Hirani's 3 Idiots is almost at the verge of end and Kajol also has ended her movie making of “My Name is Khan”. Arjun Ramphal is also busy wrapping up Prakash Jha's Rajneeti. Now all three are up for this movie.
