Samsung reveals I7500 Galaxy and I5700 Spica

Samsung is seen to on all high, with so many new models launched. The company reveals another two new mobile phones. Samsung's first ever mobile phone to come to the market with Google's Android operating system running on it, the Samsung Galaxy I7500, which is launched in United States, while the other one is its next Android handset is going to be the I5700 Spica.

The Samsung Galaxy I7500 can be purchased unlocked from NewEgg, where it sports the price tag of $579.99. While the I5700 Spica is expected to be priced at approximately Rs. 23, 900 (350 Euro) and should be out in November with no definite date provided just yet.

Currently, though it is unlocked, it looks like the Galaxy I7500 will only work on T-Mobile 3G and not AT&T 3G and there is no exact date of shipping has been offered.

The Galaxy lite I5700 will sport a capacitive touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera, all-round connectivity package (HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth) and a microSD card slot. The CPU is expected to be the same 800 MHz one as in the Samsung Omnia II. Samsung Galaxy Spica, comes with the Android 1.5.

Moreover, there are already two Samsung devices that will soon become available stateside with the Android operating system pre-loaded on them, namely the Samsung Moment and the Behold II. These phones might have the option of Sprint and T-Mobile as its carrier.
