Acer has revealed a new version of its Aspire One netbook running Windows 7. The netbook is expected to be launched in next week simultaneously with the new operating system's debut. 
The Aspire One D250 features a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1,280 pixels. It also has a 1.66GHz version of Intel's Atom N280 processor and a 160GB hard-disk drive. The battery back up time is 3.5 hours, but Acer will offer an optional long-life battery that can run as long as 7.5 hours.
The Acer Aspire One is expected to be available in Japanese market on Oct 22 with Windows 7 Starter edition and cost ¥46,800 (US$553). For rest of the countries no more details are yet updated.
Aspire Timeline will be available in two versions 11.6-inch or 13.3-inch screens will also be offered with Windows 7 Home Premium. The former PC is based on an Intel Celeron processor while the latter features a Core2Duo processor.
