Samsung, a name in mobile phone is up high with new super cool release of its Omnia II–GT I8000 from Omnia series. The GT 18000 is a full touch screen phone with look alike to the Samsung Jet with a larger display. 
This Omnia series handset is said to incorporate a variety of high-performance features. Omnia II is designed to take user experience to the next level. Based on the Windows 6.1 platform Samsung Omnia II allows users to view and edit various MS-office documents like an MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint all displayed in a 3.7” bright AMOLED full touch screen.
Talking about its other multi media featues, it is equipped with a 5 MP camera that is also equipped with dual power LED flash as well as Geotagging, face and smile detection features. It has a 3.5 ear jack and FM radio along with A-GPS Navigation (3D Map)/LBS. for connectivity; it comes with Wi-Fi. It also supports DivX, XviD video recording.
Samsung Omnia II features an all new Intuitive 3D UI along with Samsung’s TouchWiz 2.0 UI. The handset has a 3G (with HSDPA), EDGE/GPRS and also supports GPS with A-GPS. It also features Bluetooth with A2DP, USB 2.0.
The mobile phone comes with an 8GB internal memory and a microSD card slot to save the music, pictures, videos, etc. being third Gen phone it obviously has Samsung communities, that allows users to upload images and videos to popular social networking sites such as Facebook, Picasa, Flickr, MySpace, Photobucket and Friendster. The Omnia II also supports 3D pictures. The phone is priced for just Rs. 28,990.
