‘Ethicus’ – latest fashion brand in India

The latest Fashion Brand, "Ethicus" was launched at Coomaraswamy Hall in Mumbai during an event hosted by the company's Founder, Mr. Mani Chinnaswamy and his wife Ms. Vijayalakshmi Nachiar, who is the brand promoter for "Ethicus" on 21st of September.

The Ethical Fashion brand from Appachi Cotton is built on the philosophy of "inclusive growth from farm to fashion" and offers products made from 100% certified organic 'eco-logic cotton' and 'ethical silk' hand-crafted by rural artisan.

The products from this brand are made by rural artisans using centuries old weaving techniques on jacquard handlooms and are designed with keeping international standards in mind. To produce these products none of the chemical fertilizers or pesticides has been used, nor have the plants been genetically modified.

The product range of Ethicus includes saris, stoles, duppattas,a host of men’s garments, bed linen, table linen, curtains, decorative cushions, baby gift sets, knitted t-shirts and accessories like bags and yoga mats and many more.

Report says that the Mumbai based textile designer Chelna Desai, has also been closely associated with the product development for the brand. The brand is also now on facebook.
