Motorola is really making a giant comeback with the news and formal introduction of its Motorola Droid mobile phone at the press meet on 29th. The company’s CEO Sanjay Jha announced the model and described the Motorola's plans to regain its lost glory.
At first Sanjay mentioned the number of new smartphones would be in “multiple tens”, before clarifying that at least 20 would be released. So, at last after a break now once dominant cellphone maker is planning a great comeback with as many as 20 new smartphones in 2010.
Unfortunately, the high-ranking executive didn’t mention what operating system these would be based on. Keeping a big question mark that whether Motorola will release any Windows Mobile 6.5 powered device? As of now, it seems to be too preoccupied with Android to give the other OS'es a shot. Moreover, as per earlier discussion Motorola might not release Windows Mobile 6.5 device but will look forward for Windows Mobile 7, let’s see in 2010 as not so far.
So, wait for 2010 and see which models and OS the Motorola is bringing to us!
